Sweet sausage made from cookies - tastes like in childhood! Chocolate sausage made from cookies. Sausage made from cookies without milk.

Do you remember how popular homemade sausage made from cookies, butter and chocolate was in our childhood? Our mothers prepared it in large quantities, put it in the refrigerator, and the family was provided with a delicious dessert for a long time. Nowadays we can buy any sweets in the store, but in those days, most often, only such a dessert was available to us. If you want to remember the taste of childhood, let's make chocolate sausage from cookies together.

Recipe for making chocolate sausage from cookies

For a sweet dessert from childhood you will need:

You will also need cling film to form the sausage.

Note! The butter must be preheated to room temperature. It should become soft, but not melting.

  1. Break the cookies into small pieces, place in a blender bowl and grind into crumbs.

    Grind the cookies in a blender

  2. Pour the crumbs into a convenient bowl, add butter and rub thoroughly.

    Add butter to cookie crumbs

  3. Now add cocoa and mix again.

    Add cocoa and mix thoroughly

  4. Add to the mass walnuts. Before doing this, dry them in the oven and grind them as finely as possible.

    Add crushed nuts to the mixture

  5. Begin to gradually pour in the condensed milk, all the while rubbing the mixture with a spoon.

    Pour in condensed milk

  6. Lay out the cling film, place the resulting mass on it and roll it into a sausage shape, twisting along the edges for a tight seal. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for several hours.

    Form the mass into a sausage using cling film.

I heard from friends that it is enough to keep such a sausage in the refrigerator for literally 2-3 hours for it to harden properly. This didn’t work out for me: the dessert was too soft and fell apart in my hands. So I either leave the sausage overnight right next to the freezer or inside the freezer for 5 hours.

By the way, you can significantly change the taste of the sausage. It depends on the type of cookies, and there are a lot of them now, choose according to your taste. You can also use any nuts (but be careful with peanuts, they are a strong allergen), candied fruits, and marmalade. Also, you don't have to add cocoa if you don't want the chocolate flavor.

Compound:

butter - 1 pack,

sugar - 1 glass,

cocoa powder - 2 tbsp. spoons,

cow's milk - 1/3 cup,

cookies - 400 gr.,

walnut - optional.

- This is a very tasty dessert. There are recipes that include condensed milk. Today we bring to your attention a recipe for a confectionery sausage made exclusively from delicious milk, cocoa and butter.

This pastry sausage recipe cookies will please everyone. The chocolate dessert looks complicated, but is easy to prepare. As children, many often prepared confectionery sausage, but did not think about the calorie content and added more of everything!

Preparation of pastry sausage.

To prepare pastry sausage you need to prepare all the ingredients. Cookies need to be crushed by hand or cut with a knife.

Then grind the nuts in a blender. If you don't have a blender, you can chop the nuts with a knife, but not too finely.

Next, you need to melt the butter in a saucepan or saucepan.

Then mix sugar with cocoa powder and pour into a saucepan with melted butter.

Mix everything well. Cocoa can be replaced with the same amount of melted dark chocolate.

Carefully pour the milk into the saucepan and bring the resulting mixture to a boil.

Next, add cookies to the saucepan and stir.

Then add the chopped nuts and mix well again.

Then let it cool a little so that the mass is not so hot, so it will be more convenient to work with it. During this time, the cookies will be well soaked. Divide the resulting mass equally; it is enough for two sausages.

Now you need to form the sausages. To do this, you need to spread cling film on the table. Place the mixture in the center of the film so that 5 centimeters of clean film remain in place of the ends of the sausage.

Then you need to lift the film from one or the other edge and roll the sausage into the center.

When the sausage already looks like a real one, you need to wrap it tightly with overlapping film. Next, tie the ends of the film into knots.

Sausage made from cookies and cocoa is an easy-to-prepare and incredibly tasty sweet treat, the recipe for which has been familiar since childhood. The delicacy was very popular during the Soviet era, like the legendary nuts with boiled condensed milk. The dessert is also of great interest in European countries. In the Old World, the delicacy is called chocolate salami.

To make sausage from cookies and cocoa at home like you did in childhood, you will need a simple set of ingredients, 10-20 minutes of free time for cooking and 2-3 hours to cool the dessert in the refrigerator.

I have prepared several recipes for making pastry sausage, including traditional ones, with a classic composition and set of products, and modern ones, with bold additives that add a touch of originality to the range of tastes that have been established for decades.

  1. Don't get stuck on the standard elongated sausage shape made from cocoa and biscuits. The treat can be served in the form of balls, cones, stars and other figures. Use special molds if desired.
  2. When wrapping, cling film can be easily replaced with foil or a regular plastic bag.
  3. Change the taste of the sausage using additional ingredients: candied fruits, raisins, walnuts or nutmegs, baked milk-flavored cookies, strawberries, sugar.
  4. Don't like cocoa? Replace with melted milk or dark chocolate.

    I transfer the cookies into a deep bowl. I grind it using a masher or blender. I don’t crush it too much so that there are large particles in the finished sausage.

    In a separate pan I mix the sweet base of granulated sugar and cocoa. I add the ingredients to the melted butter. Cook over low heat until completely dissolved. I stir until smooth. I turn off the stove and remove the pan from the heat. Leave the chocolate mixture to cool for 10-15 minutes.

    Using a whisk, beat the egg. Pour into the cooled glaze and stir.

    I pour cocoa with butter and egg into the crushed liver. I stir it carefully.

    I form neat sausages on the kitchen board. I wrap it in cling film. I put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

Before serving the sausage recipe on the table as in childhood, I let the delicacy melt a little. Bon appetit!

If you ask my daughter what the tastiest dish in the world is, the answer will be clear and decisive: sweet chocolate sausage. Alas, the cruel mother does not allow us to eat this miracle of Soviet cooking 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, but if she allowed it, the young lady would be the happiest person in the world.

However, without unnecessary irony, I consider the recipe for sweet sausage to be almost a masterpiece: a minimum of ingredients, everything is available, it’s easy to make – and how delicious it turns out! This is the dessert of my childhood, the joy of my children, a lifesaver in case of sudden guests (yes, yes, I always keep several sticks of the fake “Moscow” in my freezer).

By the way, about “simply as simple as that.” In our family, the eldest daughter prepares the sausage, not trusting this process to anyone else. Everything is so primitive that your child can handle it, rest assured!

Ingredients

  • 200 g butter;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 2 tbsp. l. “heaped” cocoa;
  • 500 g shortbread cookies (such as “Yubileinoe”, “For tea”).

Preparation

Big photos Small photos

    The photo shows everything you need to prepare the classic Soviet sweet chocolate sausage. Good advice - do not skimp on butter, it gives the main flavor note, and if you buy a cheap spread or soft sandwich mass, the sausage will have, at a minimum, a strange taste.

    The same advice applies to cookies: you shouldn’t take the cheapest option; alas, it cannot be enhanced with expensive butter and condensed milk. Optimally – mid-priced cookies.

    Let's do it first. The cookies must be crushed so that most of them look like very coarse flour, and the second remains in pieces. However, in rather small pieces.
    We set this task for the child and go away to drink coffee, lazily browsing the news on our favorite Internet sites.

    As a rule, the coffee runs out long before the cookies reach the desired condition. Then I decisively expropriate some of the leftovers and turn on the food processor: half a minute - and it’s done.

    Pour both types of cookies into a bowl - flour and pieces. Mix. Without fanaticism, lightly and lazily - just what a child can do.

    Place butter in a small saucepan. We heat it, but don’t boil it.

    Add cocoa to the cookies.

    Mix.

    Add condensed milk.

    We work with a spoon again - and again the children do it quite well.

    Add melted butter.

    Mix well.

    I didn’t take into account that during my coffee drinking I didn’t follow the fate of several cookies; they disappeared somewhere in the bowels of the stomachs of two mischievous girls. As a result, it turned out to be too much oil. Not that this was a problem, not at all, but it was possible to save a little.

    We tear off a small piece of cling film and place some of the “sausage mince” along the long side.

    We form a “sausage” by rolling it back and forth with our fingers.

    Wrap and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours.

    Before serving, we cut it, although I’m sure the children would eat a couple of “sticks” of sausage all at once. Bon appetit!

NOTE TO MOMS AND DAUGHTERS

My girls are terrible conservatives: serve them sausage exclusively in its “pure” form, no additives are accepted. But I like to experiment! It turns out very tasty if you add to the total mass before kneading:

— a little roasted poppy seed (oh, how crunchy it is and bursts with nutty flavor!);
— finely chopped marmalade candies (the cut is magical, stained glass, it turns out to be a very festive option!);
- dried fruits (and more, more - until the “sausage” mass is able to accept and hold together);
- nuts (any - walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts);
— sweet puffed rice (oh, how beautiful white looks on a black background!).

Sweet sandwiches to you! With sausage, of course.

If you need to quickly prepare a dessert and don’t want to bother with baking, chocolate sausage is the best option. The taste of this delicacy is familiar to each of us since childhood, and these days it has not lost its popularity.

To make chocolate sausage delicious, you need to choose the right ingredients. This dish can be prepared using cocoa or chocolate.

  • In the first case, you should choose a powder without any additives. The usual, “Soviet” version is best suited.
  • Chocolate should be bitter and, if possible, it is better to buy it by weight.
  • Now about the cookies. It should be crumbly and not contain any additives, such as coconut flakes, chocolate chips and other things. The ideal option is Baked Milk cookies.

This delicacy can be prepared in various ways, but the classic recipe is considered to be the one according to which sausage was originally made from cookies.

For cooking you will need:

  • 180 g butter;
  • 420-450 g cookies;
  • 170-200 g sugar;
  • 120 g dark chocolate.

Operating procedure:

  1. First you need to crush the cookies. You can simply break it into small pieces with your hands, or use a rolling pin, meat grinder or blender.
  2. Cut the butter and chocolate into pieces, place in a bowl with thick walls and melt over low heat, gradually adding sugar.
  3. Pour the sweet mixture over the cookie crumbs and mix thoroughly. Then form sausages, wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator.

Attention! You need to keep the sweet butter-chocolate mixture on the stove until the sugar is completely dissolved, otherwise the finished sausage will “creak” on your teeth.

You can make this process easier by using a mixer to turn the sand into powder, and only then add it to the chocolate and butter.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies with cocoa

When preparing this dessert, many housewives use cocoa powder rather than dark chocolate. And this does not spoil the taste of the sausage at all.

  • 500 g cookies;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 180 g sugar;
  • 30-40 g cocoa powder;
  • 50 ml milk;
  • egg.

Preparation procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies until crumbly.
  2. Cut the butter into pieces and melt on the stove, then add the sugar and, stirring constantly, wait until it is completely dissolved.
  3. Pour cocoa into a saucepan, pour in milk, stir the mixture until smooth and remove from the stove.
  4. Pour the glaze into the cookie crumbs and mix, then add the egg and bring the mixture until smooth.
  5. Form sausages into the desired size, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator.

Attention! You can add an egg to the sausage only after the chocolate glaze has cooled a little, otherwise under the influence of high temperature it will curl and turn into unappetizing “flakes”.

How to make a treat with condensed milk

You can make this dessert without milk. Chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk will certainly be no less tasty.

For cooking you will need:

  • can of condensed milk;
  • 420-450 g crumbly cookies;
  • 170-180 g butter;
  • 50-70 g cocoa powder or chocolate.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies, add condensed milk and stir until smooth.
  2. Cut the butter into pieces and melt on the stove, then add cocoa powder. If chocolate is used, add it immediately.
  3. Pour the hot liquid over the liver and condensed milk, stir, roll into sausages and refrigerate.

To make the taste of chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk more rich, you can add chopped walnuts or hazelnuts to the composition.

Cooking from cookies with milk and candied fruits

Candied fruits will be an excellent addition to the main components of chocolate sausage. You can choose any of this components, depending on your own taste.

For cooking you will need:

  • 480-500 g cookies;
  • 250 ml milk;
  • 110 g sugar;
  • 50-70 g butter;
  • 50-60 g cocoa;
  • 120-150 g candied fruits.

Work process:

  1. Grind the cookies and candied fruits, mix until smooth.
  2. Heat milk and sugar on the stove, add butter, and when the mixture melts, add cocoa and stir.
  3. Pour the liquid into the cookies and candied fruits, stir with a spatula, and when the mass has cooled slightly, form into portions. Wrap the finished dessert in film and refrigerate.

Advice. You can make a beautiful chocolate sausage by using marmalade of different colors instead of candied fruits. Children will definitely love this delicacy.

Sausage with nuts

For this dessert you can use chopped walnuts or hazelnuts. Some housewives prefer to put peanuts.

During the work you will need:

  • 400 g cookies;
  • 150 g nuts;
  • 120 g sugar;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 50-80 g cream;
  • cocoa powder.

Sequencing:

  1. Grind the cookies and nut kernels and mix in a deep bowl.
  2. Put butter in a saucepan, pour in cream, add sugar and heat on the stove until the latter dissolves.
  3. Add cocoa to the mixture, mix, and then pour it over the nut cookies.
  4. Form sausages, wrap in film and refrigerate.

Chocolate sausage with nuts will be ready to eat in 2-3 hours.

Dessert with chocolate and dried fruits

To create this delicacy, you can take raisins, prunes or dried apricots, but the taste of the dish will be brighter if you make an assortment of dried fruits.

To work you will need:

  • 350 g cookies;
  • 200 g dried fruits;
  • can of condensed milk;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 50 g cocoa powder.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies and add dried fruits to them. To make the dish more uniform, you can pass dried apricots and prunes through a meat grinder.
  2. Add condensed milk to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter on the stove, add cocoa powder, and then pour this mixture over the prepared ingredients.

Mix the mixture until smooth, form into portions and store in the refrigerator.

On a note. A chocolate sausage will turn out unusual if you replace the cookies with puffed rice.

Biscuit crumb treat

After preparing any biscuit dessert, “waste” of baked dough often remains. In this case, you can use them to create sausages or purchase special cakes.

To work you will need:

  • 500 g biscuit;
  • 180-200 g butter;
  • 150 ml milk;
  • 120 g of any nuts;
  • 120 g dark chocolate.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the biscuit and nuts, place the ingredients in a deep bowl.
  2. Boil milk and melt butter and chocolate in it.
  3. Pour the resulting mixture into the nuts and biscuit, mix and make sausages.

Advice. To give the biscuit additional softness, you can add 30-40 grams of cognac or rum to the sausage.

But this is only permissible when the delicacy is prepared for adults.

Original dessert with pistachios

When you want to prepare an original dessert from available products, you should use this recipe.

For cooking you will need:

  • 450-480 g cookies;
  • 120 g pistachios;
  • 120 g sugar;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 120 g dark chocolate;
  • sesame seeds.

Cooking process:

  1. Crumble the cookies, crush the pistachios and pour the mixture into a bowl.
  2. Melt a mixture of butter, dark chocolate and sugar on the stove and pour into the prepared ingredients.
  3. Stir the mass, form sausages, sprinkle them with sesame seeds, spread them on polyethylene and refrigerate.

To decorate the dessert, you can use multi-colored coconut flakes rather than sesame seeds.

How to make chocolate sausage without butter

Butter, which is part of chocolate sausage, cannot be classified as a light product. Some housewives try to reduce the level of fat in the dish and use margarine. But there is another way, namely, using condensed milk instead of butter.

If it was not possible to purchase it boiled, you can make it yourself.

  • It will take at least an hour and a half to prepare this component.
  • Moreover, you will have to make sure that the jar is constantly covered with water, and add liquid if necessary, since otherwise it will just burst.
  • And after cooking, you will need to place the jar in a container with cold water so that the contents cool faster.

So, to make this dessert without oil, you will need the following products:

  • 400 g cookies;
  • a can of boiled condensed milk;
  • 150 g dark chocolate;
  • 50 g almonds.

Cooking procedure:

  1. Open the can of condensed milk and place the contents in a bowl.
  2. Grind cookies and nuts, mix with “varenka”.
  3. Divide the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a water bath.
  4. Combine all the prepared ingredients, mix thoroughly and form into portions, and then place them in a cool place, wrapped in cling film.

On a note. If you don’t want to waste time preparing chocolate, you can take condensed milk with the addition of cocoa or coffee.

But what to do if you want to enjoy a delicious chocolate sausage? In this case, you should try a low-calorie dessert based on low-fat yogurt and dark chocolate.

To create the dish you will need:

  • 250-300 g cookies;
  • 50 g sugar (cane sugar is better);
  • 350-400 ml yogurt 0%;
  • 100 g natural chocolate.

Operating procedure:

  1. Divide the cookies into two parts. Break the first one with your hands, and grind the second one into crumbs. This is done so that the sausage acquires the desired consistency.
  2. Using a fine grater, process the chocolate into shavings.
  3. Pour the yogurt into the blender bowl, add sugar, add chopped chocolate and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cookies and mix thoroughly.
  5. Form into sausages and refrigerate.

To make the work process easier and not bother with a grater, you can use cocoa powder instead of natural chocolate.
